Code Name Tiranga Review on Netflix: A Sneak Peek
One of the latest Hindi films released on October 14, 2022, Code Name: Tiranga, fell flat with the general public. Thought-provoking actors like Parineeti Chopra, Harrdy Sandhu, and Sharad Kelkar are featured in this spy action drama.
It takes the same route as Ek Tha Tiger, Raazi, and other spy action films.
An injured woman trudging through snow, Parineeti Chopra delivers a monologue at the beginning of the film Code Name: Tiranga that begins, “Zindagi ki kahani, Zindagi se pehle shuru hoti hai, zindagi khatam hoti hai lekin kahani nahi.”
Ribhu Dasgupta, who also directed Chopra in “The Girl on the Train,” is the director of this film. Sandhu, Sharad Kelkar, Rajit Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Shishir Sharma, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, and Deesh Mariwala appear.
Code Name Tiranga reviews are not suitable as they are thought to be. In this movie, Ribhu Dasgupta reunites with Parineeti Chopra after collaborating on the Netflix film “The Girl On The Last Train.”
Sadly, their reunion falls short of expectations. Code Name: Tiranga has mediocre storytelling with predictable turns from the first frame. The slow-moving writing makes things more boring, and the overused troupes fall flat in terms of holding your interest.
Another factor contributing to Code Name Tiranga’s instability is the shoddy direction of Ribhu Dasgupta. The movie occasionally makes you feel like you’ve seen Dhaakad before. Keep reading for the full Code Name: Tiranga review on Netflix.
Code Name Tiranga Reviews: The Storyline
An agent named Durga (Parineeti Chopra) is the tale’s subject. She meets Harrdy Sandhu while conducting her operation to apprehend a terrorist. Durga must make several sacrifices to complete her tasks, and her only remaining choice is to jeopardize her life.
Because of the movie’s slow pacing, only a few viewers were impressed.
The first scene of Code Name Tiranga Netflix movie takes place in Kabul, Afghanistan, where Ismat (Parineeti Chopra) and Dr Mirza Ali (Harrdy Sandu) share a cab and ultimately decide to get married.
Then again, this isn’t supposed to be a love story. To find Khalid Umar, one of India’s most wanted terrorists, Ismat is revealed to be Durga Singh, an undercover RAW agent (Sharad Kelkar).
At a wedding that Umar is supposed to attend, Durga and her team set up a trap for him. Sadly, her cover is blown, and she is compelled to leave her husband, Dr Mirza Ali.
A year later, when Major Bakshi (Dibyendu Bhattacharya), a subordinate of Durga’s, is thought to have turned rogue, the agency sends her on a mission to kill him to protect their Middle Eastern network from being compromised. But Durga has no idea that this task will force her to confront her past.
Code Name Tiranga review on Netflix: Performances
Parineeti Chopra is the team’s best member and alpha and enjoys defeating bad guys, using weapons, and kicking out. When it comes to executing stylish action sequences, she does okay.
Even when she is emoting, Ms Chopra puts her best foot forward. However, her body language as an agent occasionally comes across as a little stiff.

Even though Harrdy Sandhu has a small amount of screen time, he gives a spirited performance. Sharad Kelkar, Rajat Kapur, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, three seasoned actors, are given poorly written characters by director Ribhu Dasgupta.
The pre-climax of Code Name: Tiranga Netflix movie was supposed to be the best, but it ended up being the worst. It is more of a pre-climax for a caricatured video game than an action spectacle with subpar VFX.
In one scene, Parineeti Chopra’s character refers to her life as “Dhawan ka guchcha.” For this spy thriller as well, the same is true. A movie that is supposed to be high on action and patriotism is a done-to-death vendetta story with very few thrills.
